MRS. LINDA ALINDA-IKANZA
PARTNER, LECTURER & INNOVATOR OF THE LAW
She has served in various capacities in both private and corporate legal sectors since 2006. Both as an Advocate or Partner in Law Firms and in the corporate world as Legal Officer & Legal Manager. Currently she is a Partner at Amber Solicitors & Advocates, a law firm specializing in commercial Litigation, Arbitration and Transactional work.
As an innovator, Linda is the founder of Nkola App, an access to justice innovation, which is one of the Best Global Innovations of 2019 by the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law. Linda is an evangelist for innovation and the use of technology to ensure access to justice as well as to make the law more efficient and its service sustainable.
As a teacher of Law, Linda has worked tirelessly since 2011 to transform the teaching of Trial Advocacy. She is the Head of Trial Advocacy & Moots at LDC and the CEO of Justice Advocacy Uganda (JAU) which provides Trial Advocacy trainings for ULS, LASPNET and State Attorneys on probono basis. JAU’s mission is to promote effective advocacy in support of the rule of law and access to justice. For her work as an advocate, teacher and innovator, Linda was awarded the Best Female Lawyer in Private Practise Award in the Uganda Law Society Female Lawyers Awards 2019.
Linda’s greatest inspiration in her work is to leave her four daughters a better world for women than she found it. She loves good music & a good book!
